Fun So Cal Tech Fact.
If you are in the San Diego south or bay areas, you may be able to "see" (I.e., (see) Connect - Select Network) MoviStar's new GSM1900 Network south of the border.
It should read MX 03. You may also get Telcel's network MX TELCEL.

Hi, I'm bringing this thread back to the top.
I go to school at UCR and my home is at Mission Viejo. Used to have an unlocked at&t t68i with t-mobile and a couple days ago I got a 03w28 T616 from phonesquare in San Gabriel.
For anyone who's in the Mission Viejo area. I recommend going to Virtual Dynamix for any unlocking or firmware upgrading. They're cool guys and helped me with my t68i firmware upgrade and even gave me a loaner phone while I waited. It's nice to have a local place like that so you don't have to send the phone out.

Hello Alll,
Just came by to say hello. I had the t68i, got a new t616...sold it before I used it and then purchased a new grey P800 from Sung and Rick at VirtualDynamix.com. I love this phone. I used to have an ipaq/t68i combo but not now. I also switched to T-mo from Cingular for the cheaper data.
Cheers,
Shawn

Greetings all. I'm in La Habra Heights. Just purchased a P800 at Virtual Dynamics in Mission Viejo along with T Mobile 1000 anytime minutes and all you can eat data plan last week. So yes, the P800 is available in OC.
Was with Cingular for 3 years with my 8890, then T39, and T68m. Had free texting all that time until they caught my ass.
So far quite happy with T Mobile, but can't send or receive any emails yet. Tier III T Mobile support is pretty helpful and call back when they say they will.
I'm not going to quote what I paid for the P800, but I will tell you that VD has the lowest price I've seen anywhere if you buy with a plan. Oh, they have mineral grey too.
Keep up the great site.
Steven

NE1 knows where to find a Memory Stick Duo from a Brick 'n Mortar store in the San Diego Area?
I thought Circuit City would carry them but it seems like they don't...
Thanks,
Sergio
