Hi guys,

I am trying to create my James Bond theme as we speak an really struggling. I have stripped both Lucas' and Anemovatis' themes and am trying to convert the images one by one to ensure that I end up with all the relevant elements etc. However, some of them seem very similar to me and I would like to know what some of them do/are used for. Could anyone give me a few hints tips or even rustle up a guide for each of the items, their purpose and relevant sizes and locations on the screen.

The other problem I am having is I have changed the .utz to .zip, unzipped and then to test I re-zipped, re-named to .utz and then tried to open in ThemeCreator and I got errors and ThemeCreator crashed. I am using WinRar, is this my problem (I did use zip compression and not rar) or is there a setting that I can correct to allow it to work?

Thanks

Though you might like to know that a new version of the theme creator is out.

They haven't changed the previews unfortunately, but you can now change every bitmap from within the ThemeCreator.

If you want a guide to the components of the user interface, look here

Thanks guys, have just got the new theme creator and will have a play with it - I had seen the developper guidelines and had a flick thorugh but they didn't seem to explain how the images work, in particular the button frames and multiple button status images etc etc

anemovatis, added to hotmail - hopefully catch you on-line sometime during the week as I am having the rest of the weekend away from the PC - many thanks

There is some themes for M600 on SE-UIQ.com. (Some themes that you could download will have the extention .zip then rename the archive with .utz)

Examples :
