Normally a changelog appears after a new firmware is updated,. This may take a few days though, so patience 'is a virtue' in that respect.

With regards to a professional report, again, time is an issue here. With such a new update, perhaps it'll take a little longer for a 'professional report' of the ZEUS (you meant SEUS, right) firmware update.

In any respect, is there any particular reason you need to read a report beforehand i.e. making sure particular 3rd party apps work or if it makes it mare stable?

If not, then by all means, perhaps you can install the firmware update (if it's available for your handset that is). I'm sure most users on here are happy for those 'goofy' reports in the interim. These comments cover, in their totally, the most important issues for P990i users at the moment.

Personally, I've managed to use the Web Browser since updating and find it to start faster than before. I haven't been able to get BlackBerry Connect (Internet) working yet, which is a shame.

Apperently Blackberry Connect v 3.37 does NOT work with either the new M600 or the new P990 firmware, you need the new BBC v 3.45, BUT it has not been put on general release yet!

So I have decided not to update yet.

Okay, now I have too updated to the latest FW. First off, its as crappy slow as before. If it is indeed faster as some say, then perhaps in milisecs!
It already crashed once and I definately do NOT have more ram available after a reboot then before!

I could not find any 'new' features or upgrades so far. The only thing is this icon via USB and the Online icon. Nothing of any importance.

I and certainly many, many people were desperately waiting to get this FW and improvements. Nothing worth while so far.

I will check during the day and write it down if I find something worth

Just hopig that others will indeed find some REAL improvements not just 'personal and subjective' once. It is easy to 'imagine' when you don't have any Benchmarker or other utility to really check!

Imagine this: open all the apps you have on the phone. Messages, opera, contacts, everything! For me nothing is closed down, and i can open a page with about 150 thumbnails or so, and they are still open

I was afraid of this. Too many people are trying to say something, almost anything, doesn't matter what. The point is that it would be better to see what this firmware brings to us, as long as we can't find official info on SE site. For information regarding updating, and so on, please read FAQ.

@floatlite

Where did you get the firmware revision number from? Damn, no point updating the firmware on my g/f's M600i then until new version is out.

No, and there never will be one.

Just finished the update...like how it automatically downloads the latest MMS settings and internet setting. Also, (which i am sure some of you will be very happy about), you can now put the phone on speaker phone before the other person answers...the left soft key turns the speaker on or off...(that is a feature that was needed!)

I found that the phone actually charges via USB now. Previously it took like half day to fully charge, but now it took less than 2 h.
