The FW on the phone that you got from CPW is branded, it may not have splash screen or anything like that but the /29 means it is indeed not a generic software. So you will only get FW updates for /29 branded FW. Unlike debranded which come out much more frequently and are usually, /1 /2 etc.

still no luck updating it over SEUS. keeps bumping back to the main menu after detection....
SEUS was working fine for the w950 2 wks ago...

We have been over this about 4 times. We are currently working on said patch, however this is far from complete, and will need tested before we can release it.
So there is no ETA for this as we haven't even completed it yet.

When music is playing and some1 rings or texts me my phone will only beep. does anyone know how to chnge this to that the music will stop and the ringtone rings, because i know i love my music, but i dont love it that much that i miss all my calls and texts

Some People Suggest putting the phone in silent mode first!! which may work on other phones but on my w950i it does what it says on the tin and in silent mode you dont even hear the music let alone the call!! may as well switch the phone off!
