How can you compare a 3.2 MP camfone with that of a 5 MP

AFAIK, the Nokai N95 is still the BEST camfone out in the market at present ! Maybe you can compare the K800 with that of the K750 (2 MP)

When i took a photo on holiday with K800is flash of friends at dinner it looked great on screen for an evening shot. However when printed out it was awful and the faces were blurred and dark the flash has a poor range on it. Plus it has noise problems with backgrounds in shots on clear days and its bad when printed out. Truly spoiled my holiday photos. The Nokia may not have proper flash but its picture quailty is very good i find from testing i know someone who has one. Nokia make great camera phones full stop i remember years ago even their vga cameras were good for the time. Though i still dont think camera phones are that good even though i love the N95. I find K800i a full phone.

N95 is better than K800i. But i certainly wont give the N95 credit for its horrible noise reduction smudges and cold colours. K800i is much better in this regard. Due to N95's sharpness and bright colours, pics look clear and bold, where as the K800i likes to give its pics a "softer" look and doesnt use sharpening to its full advantage. Would appreciate sharper images and more bold colours from the K800i.
Anyway, this thread will be of pointless debate within a day once Sofia is announced. The comparision between sofia and N95 is what should be realistically debated, they will both offer 5 megapixel.

Are you 100% sure it's Sofia? Someone at HowardForums says they're announcing the release date of the P1?
Let's hope you're right, and we don't get disappointed hehe

announced only though, Sofia's release date is said to be in September according to eldar at mobile review. Just mentioning that comparing K800i with the N95 will be a waste of time once Sofia is announced.

Hey guys,
I just posted a lot of photos taken with a N95
here!
Sorry mate but I really cant' appreciate quality of N95..... loads of noise there and horrible edges... are those some of the pics with wrong settings?
Look at the noise in the sky, the edges of grass or the leaves....

I've read through the entire thread, and when it comes to comparing photos, didn't anyone see that in the coin photo, the k800 was closer to the coin than nokia? I have a K750i and my first pics looked as horrible as those because of my shaking hands. Now I can take far better photos with my phone because I learned to control all that. And after all, it's a matter of choice. Some people like Nokia and they will buy Nokia, others Sony-Ericsson. But, I can't explain why, when I wanted a camera phone, I looked for a Sony-Ericsson. It's the name SONY that makes you wanna think twice before buying some other camera phone. And after all, THEY ARE CAMERA PHONES! NOT A DEDICATED CAMERA SENSOR AFTER ALL!
