@PcMan

You really cannot be serious when you say

"Do uknow the difference in real life experience between hsdpa and umts?! It's so liitle!!! this is not comparing gprs and umts! So I think thats not a big stuff! The phone is brilliant although the lacks of hsdpa!! For me it's brilliant! It's all I need in one - walkman + symbian uiq 3.1(+all great apps & etc stuffs around the OS) +wi-fi+bluetooth stereo headset and bluetooth hands-free in-box+8gb in-phone memory+great desighn/small sizes+nice touch screen(touch scren is very important for OS based machines, only because of this main minus I dont like N95..)+many others! "

Well first point is the difference between HSDPA and UMTS as you put so little at all the difference is max 384kbps to currently 1.8mbps rising to 3.6mbps hopefully by the end of the year on then on to 7.2mbps so on this you are very wrong I'm afraid.

We get you wouldn't like the N95 after all it's not an SE is it.

I really like the looks of this phone i think it is great but as some have mentioned the lack of HSDPA on a Data centric device to be launched late 2007 is not good IMO. The other points i am disappointed with is that it shares the same processor and graphics as the P1 although the same Ram is excellent but again for a device launching late 2007 i really don't get why they are still using the same old processors surely it can't be that expensive to upgrade to a newer chip as this will be a premium device for sure. What confuses me more is that HSDPA is coming in some of the other devices just not this one. The lack of HSDPA, WiFi and new chip is what rules out this otherwise great device from being viable for me.

Marc

No it looks exactly how it should, just something is wrong with you.I can't understand HOW THE H*LL after SE announced so bloody perfect looking and nearly perfect spec-wise phone, somebody will always find unreal flaws in it and will moan about all the day.LOL I am really p*ssed off of such childish behavior.[ This Message was edited by: icaka on 2007-06-14 21:45 ]

I'll tell you a REAL flaw. Although SE makes increable OSE platforms this UIQ phone will have the SAME flaw. ok I'm browsing on Opera Mini or playing a game, and wish to make a quick call. Do I start dialing the number, no I cannot. I need to press the Shortcut Key, click on main menu, and goto my address book to pick the listing of someone I know. Sure I can kill one step with the Shortcut set to AddressBook but still its tedius. I'm used to it, but OSE phones - K790/800 etc - are SUPPOSED to be phones first. Now this gets slightly annoying when I want to dial a NEW #.

The newly announced K850 & W910 both have DEDICATED "Call/END" keys which I HOPE minimize any running app to the main screen to "DIAL A NEW #". This UIQ phone without using the touchscreen will exhibit the same flaw.

I just hope that if I goto the Call List screen, that shows my "Dialed/Answered" (Missed makes no sense for my suggestion here) #'s that I can side scroll thru the other numbers in my AddressBook for that contact. Since I switched back to SE from the BB Pearl I miss this 1 ability just 1! Constantly throughout the day I call my wife at work, but during the lunch hour she calls me from her cellphone - 1 contact multiple numbers. If I don't have her mobile # listed in the Dialed/Answered list I have to exit out and goto the AddressBook in order to locate the mobile # for her.

Overall though this W960 is an INCREDIBLE phone! Something I've been looking for. To be honest the placement of the scrollwheel looks odd - to me I'm right handed so viewing a movie with the wheel under the phone seems strange but I LIKE IT!

PS are Europeans mostly Left Handed?

Also that headset is INCREDIBLE! Reminds me of the Mini-Disc Recorder/Player days - full track & caller id information.
