yup that'6s very true bout the memory management! as comparison, during my spell with p990, it reboots at least three times during the day, mainly use for browsing, excel and gaming, which all of them are memory eater! but with p1i surviving 4 staight days without rebooting and still going strong, it's fantastic!! at the moment i'm not bothered with all the bugs reported. what concerns me most is its memory, for the rest, it's stillat normal stages, though some improvements on next fw release will b a bonus!

A notation on the "memory leaks".
Some of these might not be memory leaks, the phone continually opens up hidden applications and threads etcetera that has yet to be started when the phone has not been used after startup. These are not visible as applications in the Activitymenu.

why are people still talking about ram footprints when it no longer affects the usage of the phone.....you've got plenty of ram to burn... apps don't close, there are no performance reboots... what is that left to complain about?

@DragonEye: I think it's a halo effect from using the P990i... the nightmares from having to consistently check the remaining RAM left and kill some unused apps in the background before the phone reboots itself! Hahahaha...

Can someone tell me how to take a picture using the front camera on the P1i, or is this a glaring omission from the SE team?

the front camera is only for video calling
however, this is not a bug and so is offtopic for this thread.

Anyone know what's the big deal with proper sound through stereo BT when watching videos? I didn't work with 990i and still not with P1i. I havent tried any other BT stereo handsfree than HBH DS-970. SE even replaced the DS-970 for me once because of this but the new one had the same error and I just gave up.
I tested the bluetooth sound (on P990) with a Jabra 620s stereo BT headphone and the sound level is way below acceptable levels, same headphone when connected to my notebook is very satisfactory, so it's not the headphone at fault here.

I have experienced a few reboots today!!!
First was when I tried to 'Release and Answer' an incoming call while I was on a call...
The second was in the middle of a call for no apparent reason...
Final one was when i accidently marked all Blackberry emails 'Unread'
These all seem to have appeared after I was playing with / trying out three Themes I downloaded from the SE Fun&Downloads site... The Themes are specifically titled P1 but they are amazingly small (all under 150kb) and so I believe my problems have come from there... All of these have been deleted now and I am using one of the preinstalled Themes...
I'll monitor and if I continue to get reboots for no reason or if it becomes more frequent I will perform a Master Reset and start again...
