It does seem as though SE will eventually do a Motorola and release more colours, as the purple photos (real ones) found on Esato do not come from the SE site, nor has SE actually named it as an official colour yet. I'd safely say that there is a high possibility of more colours to come.
And about the positioning of the device. If I were to make a tree of the SE mid-high candybar pricing point, it would look like this:
K550 > W610 > W660 > K770 - W880 > K810 > T650 > K850
So it's not really a high end phone. It's just a fashion phone, more in the vein of the W880 than the K810.

have k810i like their number one Cybershoot phone (for the moment).
didnt make k770 "better" then k810i, just because they "want" k810i be number one of the cybershoot family, (best camera, best camera features, etc). k770 is a middle range cybershoot phone.
also k850i coming soon, and
venture a massive publicity on k850i.

SE strategy this year is sooooooo bad! a K850 that should got out 2 months ago, a S500 that didn't passed a normal test period and that's why the keys are exploding....

in the huge SE portfolio 2007 you mentioned that tha k770 will come in four colors, i konw there is mocha and purple, but what about the two others?
it is also bad that it doesnt even have xenon light (but thats probably because that SE want k810 to be their best camphone for now)

I took a momment to take a look the new design K770. Most of the candybar shape
phone have the same placement of the cam, flash, and speaker. This K770 have a different placement. A new design indeed. I think they put the battery in the middle part. But how to open the battery? And they put the flashled and the cam so high at the back of the phone, almost on the top edge. So where do they put the internal Antenna?
Anyway, it's a new innovation from
