LET peter make his own acx pack, and dont give him bad ideas. I find them the best acx around (i've noticed this 20 minutes ago, when i came from school and listened to loud music. LOUD and CLEAR!! almost made me cry... its music paradise)

About that crap sound on earcall.. yeah its only with service provider.. its beacuse they use recorded sounds.
I don't have a service plan too.. its a pre paid TIM.. but I can talk for 7cents the minute.. so is very cheap

messages are way to expansive here, like 50cents a message.

And the backspeaker in on Farfields [all of them].
Yep K790 has a good farfield.

i tried testing acoustic files in my phone, k800i. i have found out that the PHF_PLAY.zapf is perhaps the only one that control the sound of the earphones. the farfield_play.zapf controls the loudspeaker and with that i tested the files acoustic that i have. here are my observations.

1. the main acoustic files of w850i sounds better than that of the w880i.
2. the PHF_play.zapf of sunfire7v2, xaeromaloud and pedroPS1.1 are the same.
(though Pete said he'll use the xaeroma files.)
3. the PHF_play.zapf asash and and faur are the same (the MEGABASS)
4. the farfield files of sunfire7v2 and xaeromaloud are the same
5. pedroPS1.1 farfield_play.zapf is the same as that of sunfire7v2 and xaeromaloud
6. if you like VERY LOUD message alert and loudspeaker play, use either ego or cepera farfield_play.zapf

* this may sound a surprise, but i believe, the sound in the earphones of xaeromaloud,sunfire7v2 and pedroPS1.1 are the same. (correct me if im wrong)
* the BASS quality of asash and faur are the same.

as a conclusion, we may trim down our huge list of acoustic files to just two (2) when it comes to loudspeaker and earphone play. if we like more bass but lesser volume, use item (3). if you prefer louder sounds, but lesser bass, use item (2).

with these files, you can now mix them to the original w850i, w880i or even the original k800i/k810i acoustic files.
Hope wat i have shared could help us in trimming down the acoustic files that we mix.

when it comes to lowering the volume, that i dont know till up to this moment. i have a FEELING that when the sunfire or xaero PHF_play is edited to lower the treble, the result will be the asash or faur PHF_play. im i right?

As stated o "ZAPF acoustics investigation" all PHF_X_PLAY work togheter. They are the responsible for music sound when using headphones. But there are more of them... for call, ring, etc.

Farfield_play is for music on backspeaker, music only.

Don't mean to be rude.. but don't talk what you don't know man.
It just tear me down when you say my mod is the same as others.
Just because they have the same filesize doesn't mean they are the same.

If you knew how they lower the treble you wouldn't say that...

To be honest, my MOD was made with the intention to be better than any mod, or MIX.
So I really don't think mix are necessary with my mod.

But you can do whatever you want... if you really find necessary to have a mix.

its ok back

i think the culprit is the fastport connector
as the problems is random
sometimes it happens
sometimes it dont
unless other ppl also got tis problem then i think its not related to the mod
its my phone

i tested 1.1 on my k800i in backspeaker & headphones (hpm-70)

backspeaker(farfield_play)
quality 3/10- sounded quite horrible, cracks at max volume
loudness 9/10- very loud a tiny bit more loudness would be nice and i know the backspeaker is crap

headphones(PHF_play) bass setting, hpm-70
quality 5/10- tiny bit of cracking at max volume, also some disortion, but the sound is very well balanced.
loudness-10/10 loud enough, doesn't need to be any lounder loudness is perfect.
bass 8/10- has very nice bass,a little bit more would be nice
clearless 10/10- very very super clear sound could hear everything.

the acoustics still need bit more work, but coming along nicely u really need to work on quality.

sir, i didnt compare the files based on their file size only. i also compared them based on the time they were made.i was suprised coz they have the exact time down to the seconds. i dont mean to offend anybody. i just made that comparison because i only noticed a very small (or sometimes non all) differences on the sounds that i hear from them. as stated in #2, it was just your PHF_play.zapf that is the same with the others. i didnt say that your mod is the same with the others. its definitely not. yes, its better.

hey pedrops, nice talking to you on MSN yesterday. I think I'm still hungover man...lol...school was sure fun today...I almost finished an assignment, which is a miracle being in this condition.

I'm going to start testing out all those betas you sent me. I hope my ears are good today.

BTW, I got my JVC FX55 in the mail today.

They're sounding OK so far. But it's too early to judge, I have to burn them in for a day or two. I hope the sound will open up. I got to say, I'm not really an IEM guy. I'll take cans over IEMs anyday

Anyways, time to get to work on those betas.
