And I wouldn't be surprised if that is all that's behind Samsung's claim - just like they called the normal WebKit-S60 browser "Safari" in the L870 press release...

Yes, I noticed it was in at CPW. At very agreeable prices as well to be honest. A lot of handset for the money.
But with an average 8 seconds per photograph with its 8MP Camera, I think I'll wait for the C905. It's just the usual slow Samsung Camera interface.
