All I can say is that while there are many who claim C902 is way better than anything else, there are just as many people who denigrate the C902 claiming it is shit and only the KING N82 is the one true reigning monarch of camera phones.
I mean look at this with perspect. Both cameras are about as good as eachother, with advantages in one area outweighed by disadvantages in another. Where one is strong the other is weak and vice versa. To self righteously claim that EITHER camera is much better than the other is to show oneself to be a biased fanboy.
To come on with this antogonism towards SE is no better than the fanboys who jump up and down claiming the C902 is perfect. The fact is the C902 is an excellent camera phone, one of the best on the market. That doesn't have to mean the N82 is crap! The N82 can be good also. Why do people get caught up in this either/or bullshit??

Because some people have bullshit stuck up in their minds. And the bigger BS is that they get away with it, just like its happening right now as i type

Youre absolutely right Max Wedge
Its really funny how we sit and argue about wich phone sucks the most at taking pictures

Yes i mean Suck because still compared to a real digicam our phones suck
But i can see how its important to know in wich area our phones suck more and in wich situations it sucks a little bit less
As i am on my third N82 now and i have owned two c902 i can just say how i see it.
Outdoor and in good light/sunshine the c902 really rocks. It handles almost every situation well and you are very unlikely to get a crappy picture if you just follow basic photo "know how". Shooting with the sun in your back and against the object and so on.. It handles landscape pictures better than N82 and i have never seen a mobile phone who captures trees and stuf like that so beautifully. It also rules in Makro where i got really crisp and detailed/sharp pictures. It has better camera controls and the touch-buttons works really well. And the most important factor that NO one here has mentioned is that the c902 remembers your settings so next time you flip the lens cover open, the cam are adjusted like you left it. Imagine this when you spend a day in sunshine or a cloudy day and the phone always is ready to shot with your beloved settings each time you want to take a picture.. The c902 works really well in plain auto also and thats very important i think.
The only downside i had with my c902:s where indoor shooting. It was much more difficult to capture nice indoor pictures. Dont know if this has to do with how the focus system works or what. But just as faultless as it was outdoors, just as difficult my c902 where indoors. The face-detection is a joke and really slow. The % of good pictures inddors where rally bad compared to my N82:s
The N82 are an impressive piece. It is butt ugly compared to the beautiful and slim c902 but build quality arent bad for being made of plastic. Itīs really feature packed with GPS and Wifi and all that. Bigger screen and so on. I think it is less good in auto than the c902, it takes some adjusting of the cam to get the best out of every situation just as said earlier. When adjusted right it takes beautiful pictures and it rules indoors with the strong xenon flash. The % of my indoor shots without flash are also better than c902. So in my eyes itīs the best "allrounder". The N82 doesent remember your settings so if you are at the beach a sunny day you will have to fiddle around with the settings of the cam every darn time you want to shoot a picture and change wb to "sunny" and stuf like that. This is really annoying compared to the c902. The N82 screen are harder to see in strong sunlight just as someone said and the N82 has worse battery life.
So i think itīs a close call, if you want style and a slim phone and shoot mainly outdoors and in "auto-mode" go for the c902. If you want the best allrounder get the N82. Bare in mind that the N82 is almost twice as thick though
I also think all reviews should be read with a little bit of common sense from us users. The reviewers are most likely to shoot in plain auto and havenīt got the time to spend hours and hours to find the best settings for every situations. The results can be really different when someone adjust the cam. Like locking ISO to low and lower EV to get a darker pic with less noice and stuf like that.
And itīs me you should blame guys, im the reason Plank bought the c902

it seems that n82 dosent have red eye corection . i think c902 produces more accurate coulors and better details and also have stronger macro .
@iSE
its impossible . because the light condition should be the same .
Alex, N82 have RER Flash option. N82 have good macro (10 cm) but for me it is useless, i not use this option in my normal day. Accurate color and details is good for me (sometimes i need only use one picture editor to change levels). The most important for me is Xenon Flash... try take one picture like that with C902.

You guys get me wrong.
My point is, the magazine is WRONG. It said N82 was good, but c902 was just too good, I mean, wtf, no gadget is "too good". Lack of reviewing skills.
If you let a 10 years old review a psp and a nintendo ds, he will call the one he likes "perfect" and the other one he doesnt like "crap".
Facts:
-N82
-less noise
-more detail
-better night mode and flash
-Better video recording
-more camera options
-C902
-better color reproduction
-equality in the whole pictures, including the edges of pictures.
-look better when resized down.
I want to see this pic full size with a C902. Use a flashlight if needed. Look at the detail and low noise.

I agree the mag is very wrong. There are no 10/10 phone in this world.(maybe they give 10/10 vs 7/10 for easy comparision?? like 100% vs 70%) I don't know how they test the cameras but the conditions must have had favoured C902 to win in that competition. N82 still wins my heart.
