soulsurfer, have you seen my coments about flash??? and also super slow text entry sometimes (opera forums, twitter widget)

also, i ask again, can widgets data by access by 3rd party apps like a gdesk pluggin???

Yep, dunno what we can do about flash as we just abused the existing plugin, but a bug has been raised and we will check the differences between 8.6 and 9.5, the text entry is something new.

It is possible to use the microwidget "docked" mode of the widgets, in the same way the UIQ dashboard does (which was present on the beibei or paris) but the exact method of doing this i'm unsure about, its probably mentioned in the widget SDK http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/opera-widgets-sdk/

tks for the answer...

do you think we could have the option to use opera mini proxy server sometimes????

also regarding proxy...i have to go through one on my work´s wlan...and using some widgets is a bit of nightmare...i have to confirm my proxy username/password over and over and over again for some things to load (facebook), despite i enabled it to memorize my login data...

I am getting the following error message when trying to launch Opera:
"Application couldn't be started"

I am using a P1, CDA 162024/55 R6A and I have killed all the other applications running in the background to free up memory.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Surprisingly the Opera widgets work just fine.

I have that exact same problem. Opera Mobile won't work, but the widgets do. And yes, I do have a supposed supported phone; P1i. The installation had no problems, and there was no warnings. I've uninstalled, and re-installed several times. I even tried installing on my memory card, with no luck.

No problem at all on the W960 but I still prefer the older version.
