It's possible to decrease the yellow via colour correction with the flash il look into it, the C702 has a smaller aperture so the only way to have lighter pics without degrading the quality is to decrease the shutter speed, theres nothing else that can be done, +0.7 ev is only for twlightportrait so you can have 1/3 shutter with iso500, it would be possible to have 1/2 shutter speed with iso320 it would be good as a nightmode, but the trouble is where to place it, C702 can not have supermode because there is no zoom in 3mp mode.

Thanks for the reply... did you try another scene besides twilight landscape?, i don't use it that much, i use twilight, portrait and some times document...

Can you confirm that the yellowness with the flash only happens when you use portrait landscape?

can you post a pic? usually when we take pics with flash on, the pic turns dark. the yellowish? well, check the white balance. it could be set to cloudy.

It's possible to decrease the yellow with the flash by colour correction, the C702 just uses auto whitebalance with the flash, i sometimes set it to daylight.

With daylight it is even worse.
so only i choose auto because in auto the yellow is bit low compared other white balance settings....

i regret buying cybershot... the name cybershot deceived me. very much disappointment.....

You don't like it because theres slightly too much yellow with the flash, no phone camera is perfect, anyway i can tweak the colour correction so theres a bit less yellow it's a easy thing to fix.

Hi Number 1,

I agree that no phone is perfect, cybershot is something different i suppose.
just imagine each and every photo u take contains this yellow coloring and even the display is slightly yellowish... a normal snap taken in different camera appear to be somewhat yellowish when transferred to this mobile..

one another problem i am facing is error message "picture too large to use in this context". even sony ericsson service center also doesnt have idea on this error. only selected pictures show these errors which open in all other mobiles.

i thought that size might be the problem but C702 opened a file which is double that of errored file perfectly....

if mobile of standard cybershot contains these many bugs then everyone will get vexed....

but the main problem which i need to be solved is the yellowish color. i need the pictures taken to look like original without any such problems....

Ok guys thanks for all your helps.
i am signing off have some work.

Please help me to resolve this issue.....

will reply you once i complete my work...

bye have a gr8 day
