@c0mm0n or anyone else who has got a TECOM3030 working properly!

I am currently using the BT3030 drivers from the CD (same as website) and the software just seems to crash all the time and the connection dies after about 2 mins. If I follow the instructions on the first page can I install the drivers from tecom1.rar and then the TDK software package instead of the TECOM stuff? Is this combination more stable under Win2K/XP? At the moment, the TECOM software just crashes explorer every time I try to click on "My Bluetooth Places" or "My Device" when my phone is connected. Really irritating. Plus the fact that it never says it is connected even when it does connect. WIll using tecom1.rar/tdk1.3.2.7 solve these problems?

Cheers

I'm having problems updating my btw software. I have the dlink dongle with the original 1.2.2.15 software. I'm currently running windows 98SE. I'm trying to update this to a more current version. I've tried updating with the biliton version as well as the recommended tdk one. I'm still having problems.

Once installed with a modified ini file the dongle is identified and the dlink driver installed. After the reboot I get an error which reads:

The BTTRAY.EXE file is linked to missing export WBTAPI.DLL. ?SetOnLocalServiceStateChaneCallback@CWBtAPI@@QAE?AW4WBtRc@@P6AXPAXPAUtB_SERVICE_INFO@@@Z0@Z

ANY HELP ON HOW BEST TO UPGRADE THIS, WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Anyone been able to make this work with the new 1.3.2.19 drivers from TDK and an Epox (or other) dongle? The .19 are supposed to be far improved and come with P800 utilities, etc. Thanks!!

Hi all,

I think that updated drivers might fix my problem. Unfortunately, the Billionton driver link posted earlier (http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm) does not work. Can anyone help me out with an alternate download location?

Thx,
Nick.
