scrolling through images and sounds is very very fast
not really sure what kinetic scrolling is but lists of music tracks now zooms along , so maybe thats ks

what does media server do ?
i just opened it and it asked me if I want to connect, so i have done via wifi
but i dont know what it is or what it does, just seems to be something that runs in the background

its DLNA sharing you can transfer files from your phone to pc via wifi router
