Just been on the phone to Carphonewarehouse asking about the Arc, when the sales guy who I was talking to, informed me if i was interested that the have the Play in stock from today. Sim-free he told me it would be £524.
Just thought I'd let you guys know, incase one or two of you might be interested.
EDIT: Looks as if the sales person I spoke to me got it all wrong. Play is on pre order and should have delivery next week. Called and spoke to another member of staff and this is how I found out.
Sorry if got anyone's hopes up.

I'll be getting a play on the launch night in London, but before then there is

I've just realised why those videos above made me laugh so much. In a couple of them she reminds me of Miss Piggy from The Muppet Show (yeah, I'm showing my age). Don't tell her though.

Carphone Warehouse offers Xperia Play trade-in deals
Sony Ericsson and Carphone Warehouse are letting people trade in their old smartphone to buy the upcoming Xperia Play for up to less than half the price.
The offer will take place from 9.30pm on Grafton Street on 31 March, letting customers buy the first PlayStation certified phone from up to less than half the price.
The phones compatible with the offer include lots of Nokia phones, the Samsung Galaxy S, the iPhone 3GS and the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro.
As of yet, the official price is for the Xperia Play has not been confirmed.
The Xperia Play will be available only at Carphone Warehouse for the first three weeks of April on all mobile operators. It will be available in the operators’ stores from late April.
