I don't think so, as some phones produce similar results. Fanboism is so dangerous:( Who says phots from n8 or sgs2 aren't ready? Yes they are, but have a very natural approach, no sodium glutamate, just seasoning:)

Calling me a fanboy shows how silly you are. No clue I see here.

As for picures I just have my eyes you know.
I have no problem admitting some products faults.
Arc camera is great. And as on some examples Arc camera have some more problems than their main competitors, on others it's clearly better.
Again they are not profi cameras and crops don't tell the whole truth. As well as those reviews.
The real comparison would be 500 photos each, in every possible condition.

Arc camera in 100 % crops details are very simillar with those pastell paintings. Only if you don't have eyes you could tell that Arc camera is the best in the class.

Does it really matter which phone has the better camera ? Seems like they are both very capable shooters

^^^ Exactly what rikken says

Who cares if you think the other two phones take better pics than the Arc. At the end of the day, there are only very small differences between the quality of the photos. IMO in some cases the Arc takes the better pic, in other cases the other phones take better pics. In general, the quality of the photos the Arc takes will be more than good enough for most people. If you want to take a photo and either zoom in on it 500 % or print it off on a huge poster, use a proper camera NOT a MOBILE PHONE!

back on topic: Some very nice photos taken by davidsic, these photos show just how capable the Arc is Kepp it up

Arc's camera is bad! just do your homework and check gsmarena's comparison. I've done my homework and prepared a 100% crop comparision from these gsmarena shots. Anyone willing to see please pm me your e-mail address. Arcs sensor is inferior to SGS2's, but better then lg2x. The problem is arc's photos are so small in size and optimized for viewing on the phone. Stop telling anyone that arc's camera is its strong point, because it's not true. I love its design, but won't buy it if the don't tweak it's camera drivers, because Exmor-R sensor seems to be almost as good as SGS2, and it seems that it's post-processing that makes photos form arc look so bad

Have no idea what crap you're talking about.
Maybe you're blind. But I've seen alot of night shots of camera phones and these are one of the best.
I watch them on PC and they look very good. I'm not saying that there are no other great night shooters,
but please don't say that cr..p. All of the digital camera photos are compromised in many ways, it's just a digital photo with relatively small sensors. But these photos look very good. I can send some or just look at originals.

Arc camera is a bad camera. user marcink is right. Photos are good only downsized.

Take a look here http://www.gsmarena.com/samsu[....]lg_optimus_2x-review-585p3.php . Xperia Arc is third. From my opinion Samsung g s2 is 1 place, lg optimus x, second and xperia arc is in last place..

I disagree. The arc's camera is better than the camera of lg Optimus. It's much sharper on the arc. Also, There seems to be a white gradient in the photos taken by Lg Optimus. Especially on this pic, http://www.gsmarena.com/showp[....]_113.jpg&idReview=585&idPage=3

I must say that the sgs II's photos are sharper than on both Arc's and Lg's BUT I see more details in some of the Arc's photos. The brown patches in the leaves in this picture http://www.gsmarena.com/showp[....]_213.jpg&idReview=585&idPage=3 is more prominent in the arc's sample. I don't know if this is some sort of better colour reproduction. Just my opinion.
