How long do you plan on having the phone? 4GB of memory with no expansion is ridiculous, you maybe fine with it now but will you be fine with it 6months later once the novelty has warn off?
Id rather advise you get a Nexus S, OR try find a Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S2 2nd hand, both should be available at very good prices now, i just cant recommend the Xperia U to anyone who uses their smartphone for more than just calls, text and IM.

I have been using my U for about 1 month and think its great. The battery life is OK, not amazing but lasts just over a day so cant complain. 4GB doesnt bother me to much as I have never used more than that on any phone. I got mine for £100 which made it a bargain.

@Tsepz_GP: The idea is to have an android phone with a decent camera and battery life time. Now that you asked it, I could have the phone until I get balanced with the money. Things didn't go as I expected plus the X10 Mini Pro went useless. So a Xperia U could be the perfect candidate I thought.

Ironically a friend of mine told that a friend of hers is selling his LG Optimus 2X's tmobile variant. But right now I found a second hand G2X in a very nice price and condition according the seller. Just phone and charger. That puts me down sometimes, but hey! Let's what can I get.
