I'm curious to know this as well but seems like it was a mistake on part of Carphonewarehouse.

The display on the Xperia T appears to be significantly better than that of the Xperia S going by those images.

Still, I think I will stick with my Xperia S for now, and see what Sony bring to the table in early 2013.

Actually that's just the views of that site. They did not test it themselves. Those pics are taken by a Sony employee and posted on Chinese forum.

Not sure if the T has a screen that is THAT much better? perhaps just better viewing angles over the S. in the straight on shot, the S seems to be the better of the two as far as brightness and sharpness. Color seems a bit better on the T but it's so dim, it's difficult to compare properly.

I have Xperia arc, and bout Xperia S to my wife and I don't have such a thing, it's HTC thing for sure.. if I clear the default then it's cleared...

Thanks, good to know. Now I don't have to worry running into that problem with Xperia.

I can't wait for the Xperia T/TX to be released. Now that knowing it will be released in the USA under AT&T, I don't have to care much about the US release and just buy the other Unlocked, region version. I'm actually liking the TX more than the T due to the removable battery, so I can get extra and not worry about stranded with a dead batt.
If it were to release at the end of Sept, normally when should the price substantially drop? a month or 2?

I am still looking for someone to answer my question. I know that the T and TX have bands that support T mobile, so does that mean it will work on T mobile 3G/4G?

There is no encryption or anything I need to worry about signal wise if I buy an unlock model?
