Tried it and was very impressed. I'm a Z1C user and straight away the additional screen size on the Z3C makes it look great. Nice bright display, excellent size and feels more ergonomic than the Z1C. I'm still loving my Z1C in lime so I'll skip until they make one with a 64 bit chip and the rumoured curved camera lens. The Compact phones are awesome and I'd suggest anyone who is uncomfortable with 5+ inch phones to check it out because it's a masterpiece. My negative points are that the plastic back may be a scratch magnet and the Z1C notification light looks better. The Sony UI looks a little dated but I imagine that'll will change eventually. All the colours look striking but I like the white front a lot.

@Goldenface both phones felt slimmer and well built and a lot lighter than previous models. Prefered the feeling of the Compact a lot more. The Z3 I used the camera was a little sluggish but it's not final firmware. I might get a Compact in white not yet though I am not becoming an early adopter again with a Sony. And I wanna see how the images are from users in real life not just reviews cos the Z2 I had was terribly blurry

That was my first mistake when I was quick to buy the z1. I did notice the lag on some videos of the photos being taken.

All reviews say the back i made of glass, not plastic (as is the case for Z1C).

I know the back of the Z1C suffered from scratching quite easily. May be this has been fixed in the Z3C. I think I'll apply a screen protector JIC.

Well, they have stopped using the shatter proof sheets now which were the culprit for the easy scratching
