To clarify things... there are 2 apns which globe is using:
1.
www.globe.com.ph, wap access is free but some wap sites are blocked (like esato) and all ports except wap are blocked (meaning you can't access html, messenger etc)
2. internet.globe.com.ph, all ports are open, access to everything (don't know about porn sites) but you have to pay 25 centavos/kb.

@dl, you can access html using p8's internal browser and the free globe apn
@rheiary, both data sent and received are charged 25c/kb

you can make your own wall paper at sonyericsson.com/fun then you can download it from your phone via GPRS with globe, still for free, that's what i do...
