And with all the EDGE phones coming out... HAHAHA! That's a big joke! WiFi na lang tayo guys...

Advantages:
1) they charge per minute/hour instead of kb.
2) prepaid cards are available so you can switch providers (Globequest, Airborne Access, PLDT).
3) unlimited prepaid and post paid plans are aslo available for addicts.
4) surf REAL webpages... not just wap.

Disadvantage:
1) Your phone should support WiFi (good thing mine does... pocket PC PDA phone with SD lot).
2) Surfing limited to hot spots (but the networks are growing).

wi-fi? next year pa magkakaroon ng commercial wi-fi provider.. oops, parang this year yung tinutukoy ko ah... pero di pa naman masyadong maraming hotspots ngayon sa pinas... airports palang karamihan.

isa sa mga unang magpapalagay ng hotspot... uhmm... hula langh... starbucks!
