I dunno if it's on forest road, but I have stayed in the very, er......"classy" gresham hotel a few times, when going to gigs and stuff.
Also I find some of the attitudes in here totally disgusting - why are you denigrating a thirteen year old gir? Not just any thirteen year old girl: an intelligent, well spoken, well mannered and throughly pleasant young lady.
Instead of congratulating her on expanding on an idea, and acheiving something, which many of us in here will never do, some people want to run her into the ground.
At no point has Jellie even insinuated that she discovered this phenomena, all she has done is developed it in a website, and had the accolade of having an interview in a publication.
By your logic, we should be ramming down the doors of every manufacturer in the world -
"No Sony, stop making that widescreen plasma TV - that was Logie Baird's idea, not yours!"
Seems silly, when you put exactly the same principle applied by the more reactionary amongst us, into that scenario, doesn't it. But of course casting aspersions onto the manufacturers of the goods we enjoy so much wouldn't give us the same morbid feelings of oneupmanship and power, as doing the same to someone who has commited that most henous of crimes: being a young, talented free spirit.
I have to question who appears more advanced mentally: 1) the thirteen year old, who has not only worked so very hard, but managed to produce something extremely professional: or;
2) those who have managed such withering wildesque putdowns as "oh, I thought jellie was a boy" and "ooh, you stole an idea, i'm not talking to you"or even "my little girl (cause I can't actually form an opinion on my own) thinks you are spoiled".
Jellie isn't spoiled, and i'm more worried about people teaching to make snap judgements on people's characters - what a great way to make your kid into the school bully!
So before we start chastising someone who hasn't done anything wrong, can we just remeber that age doesn't always mean wisdom.
