Lets stop wasting posts telling each other to stick to the topic. And while we're at it, lets not waste posts telling people to stop telling people to stop wasting posts telling each other to stick to the topic.

Hey, is it just me, or has this topic died?

No, it seems to have lingered on far too long, like an old film star desperately trying to remain youthful long past her prime.

This is silly, you cant open nuts with a p900. check my post in "random p900 facts" for the primary uses of the device. Anyway, back to the topic. I find most places i have visited in the southern hemisphere to have rather "hard" water. that is, theres a lot of unnatural salts and impurities in it. the best water i have sampled is that of the scottish highlands (and lowlands) where it makes a cup of tea of unchallenged quality, and the ONLY accompaniment to a single malt.

will disagree there.

I spent one week in Edinburgh and there water is nasty.
It makes for the worst cups of tea i've ever had.

Maybe its just the east coast that is bad and the west coast is actually nice...

Discuss!!!

So thats why Shell gave Heriot Watt (edinburghs uni) the hugely expensive water tank that replicates the waves in the North Sea - real time, to make up for the shite water taste.

It all makes sense now.
Thanks Verm
