I had the flip on till I got the screen protector. I removed the flip mainly because of this queer problem with call getting disconnected! Herez how it happens. When make a call with the handsfree and keep the phone back in the pouch, I invariable keep it with the keypad facing the front, and end up disconnecting the call when I close the pouch coz it hits the "End Call" key!

I broke the flip and used it without for a few months...but now that its back on, im glad...much easier for txt on the run...

every1 I know has removed theirs...its a size thing I guess!

I gave my p800 to my wife who's horse decided to eat the pocket which the phone was in. Luckly the flip was on and it has a screen protector. The phone suffered minor injury, but if the flap had been off it would have been a lot worse.
My p900 has the flap on with a screen protector and neither are coming off!!

You never know when you might get bitten!!!!

I prefer with flip on as before I had tried without the flip fpr some time but realised the battery was draining faster as more power was consumed to light up the whole screen
