Why would ANYONE in the US consider buying the K800 is beyond me considering that a) it does not have the 850mhz frequency and b) it lacks EDGE. A European 3G phone is useless when it comes to 3G, since the Only GSM 3G provider in the States (Cingular) uses completely different frequency than the rest of the world.
On that note - does anyone know when the K790 will be available for sale (in the US) and if it will trully be a Quad-band phone as posted previously on HowardForum and other sites?

according to the spec sheet, the K790 is a triband EDGE phone, but the K790a gets the 850mhz band.

Well, I wouldn't know who would buy it, just out of discussion, ... since it looks like the K800i is also landing on U.S. shores as it wasn't supposed to be.
Anyways, .. I guess people who want to buy it will and the others would wait for K790a which would be available either mid July or end July.
As well it is quad-band ...

Almost definately!
Hopefull when the FAR plug-in gets an update they can incorporate the K800, and therefore we can increase quality with that too.

As far as the pic quality goes it will takes good pics no doubt as I have already previously placed pics taken by the K800i.
Taking pics is like an art, ... you should know how to take pics properly as any tom can take pics ...
Right now wait for the 26th and let the proper K800i be released ... as the European ver. hasn't been released and we have some ver. in Hong Kong & Norway ... sheesh .. !!!
