Why not using the flash?

flash may light the drops so bright that everything gets too shiny. any way without using the flash?

you don't have to worry about this, water drop is not too fast. quick example: macro on, manual shutter 1/640s and forced flash



higher shutter speeds can give you more "dramatic" effects and improve brightness

all
