Don't know if you meant the lack of WiFi is dumb or the entire phone is dumb, but the juxtaposition of "perfect" and "dumb" is hilarious.
I meant its not a "smart" phone

It's not a matter of being bored. I use navigation sw of my P990 and sometimes the lack of RAM shows itself. Since the chance of getting a P990 successor just became zero, I decided to get the P1 which I can use for at least 12-18 months. Things like camera etc. are really not that important to me, I'm perfectly happy with P990s camera. I'm not getting rid of my P990, I'll still be using it.
P1 has some fw improvements which the P990 was never given.
I have no pity for SE, they had an excellent device in their hands which they messed up first by putting insufficient RAM in it and then by not supporting it. ** Rant over **
