hi psikey,

it's almost there...but the glares failed me badly, couldnt see the round edge on the right hand side of the screen.......

the left hand side of the screen seems ok, but i wonder, if there's slightly a gap on the right, between your LCD and the frame

Last shot using Macro on Tripod in daylight. No more as Christmas Day duties call

At macro I would say there is as little as a 0.5mm difference between LHS/RHS which will be the fitting tolerance. Wouldn't even notice without close inspection. The picture looks like the pixels are more the the RHS than LHS but viewing with eye directly over the screen it looks central.

NO, thats because the photo is taken slightly to one side & below as with my Macro shot which is slightly angles from one side of the phone. When I look directly above the phone the image is balanced left to right and top to bottom. If I move my head slightly off center then you will see the areas without pixels.

hi psikey,

you are right, but normally, or most of the times, i always have the area without the pixels on the right hand side, makes me conclude that my screen ain't centered, got what i mean? how do u measure that you are looking at the screen right from the center?

may be i try to touch the walkman button with my nose, and move back slowly? and see if it's centered? could this be accurate?

this thing getting funny, yet it's getting my nerve at the same time

actually this phone's video recorder is 30 or 15 fps? and compared to k800 or k810, it is on par on worse than them in term of camera? does w960 have torch function like in w810 or use third party apps?
thanx

I don't think the W960i camera is too bad. Good enough for casual shots when I don't have my Canon SLR to hand

Well, it seems like the green tint problem from the P1 is also present here. Look at the right side of the pic, the sky and lake surface have a greenish shade to them. I guess it's not very obvious since the sky color is blue to begin with, but with a white/yellow background color, this would probably be much more obvious.

Well not having had a P1i I wasn't aware of this green issue.

Anyway, I took a picture of a cream wall with indoor lighting and as you say, a green tinge especially at bottom RHS

Good job I didn't buy it for photo excellence.

Unless this is effect of low level lighting. Will try some good daytime stuff tomorrow.
