You just swipe across by the clock and Intelliscreen minimizes. Tap on it and it maximizes

There is a 100% free way to unlock iPhone 3g, however it wont be released until 31st December. Have a butchers at http://blog.iphone-dev.org for more info, also there is a video of MuscleNerd that he did yesterday demoing the unlock to show that it works.

You must have the right baseband though, if you officially updated to 2.2 through itunes the baseband would've been upgraded and you won't be able to unlock using this method at this stage

Thank you for your answer.
Now i checked the page and it says i have to uptade to the new baseband to unlock the iPhone 3G and mine has the old baseband

Is there any other way that i can uptade my iPhone withow itunes?

@Coquito, no you can't. Also I have heard of people who restored to 2.2 original and then restored from backup which restored their old baseband. It won't be that bad Coquito, just install openSSH on your iPhone, backup anything you need to (google is your friend), and then restore.

Anyone tried m•Box Mail yet? It's like the native mail app but for hotmail/windows live. Now at last I can go back to hotmail which I always preferred.

I was using one i complied with Tenuis icons, but i changed my theme so have gone back to using the 'Deep HUD' one which is one of the best IMO.

Microsoft have rolled out POP access to free hotmail accounts, so you can now setup hotmail on the iPhone using the native app using the 'Other' profile
