To be honest, the only good announcement weve had this year was the one at MWC 2008. Other than that, Ive got to say its been a very disappointing year. Its a joke to call this SE's year, not based on what we've seen so far. One or two devices aren't really enough to be able to say that. Thats just about all we've had thats of interest, to be honest. I still dont see a reason why Paris and Beibei have been cancelled. They should be upgraded, but not cancelled.

Kumiko has 3.2-Mp camera. The successor of W960i must have 5-Mp camera (like W960i).

we still have 6 months to go before we close 2008..
still has 6 months to release their handsets that will make 2008 befitting to be called

i have to agree though that MWC was a very big event for
in retrospect, imo
made noise this year with xperia, the paris super smartphone rumor, the very first 8mp cameraphone c905 and alot of cute, feature rich mid tiers

Alot of people are disappointed with the first impression of the T-series device we've recently seen precicely because of that- the mid-tier buyers now have a huge selection, volumes of devices to choose from, it seems. There are low end devices, many of them. But theres nothing for the ultra low end category (below 50 GBP, or thereabouts) and theres nothing for the really uncompromising, high end category (considering G900 almost, but does not really fit that description, and X1 is great, but SE is neglecting their original high end consumers by forcing them to use WM and not what theyre used to- thats not what an upgrade is- its an alternate solution, and Im totally all for it, but the upgrade is still necessary).
