I think some of them are fake pictues as I myself using C902 just bought few days back and updated to R3d and the images are so dissopinting..Belive me even in day light there is noise on darker parts of the photo and even the snaps are all over sharp which looks very horrible when u see it full screen....I will soon upload the real pics taken from c902..

But even agree that the new firmware pics are better then the older whhich is R3E and I feel the noise has reduced in the firmware , though the snaps are not upto my expectations...

Soory no offence to any1 or not trying to hurt anybodys feeling...coz from your pics someone whould simply buy the wrong phone like me.... Evevn I saw some of the pics on esato and was impressed and ended up wasting my money on C902...New buyers plz dont come under the impression from pics uploaded on 1 site ..Try searching other sites as well and conclude from all the sites...

i can insure you, that (at least) mine pics is 100% original. (and im pretty sure most everyone else is to)

2 tips.
IF you using some kind of 3rd software, you see it right away on the exif data. (it says ACD, Adobe photo shop, etc. instead of R3EA037)

IF you use photo DJ the picture grows directly to ~2 MB in size.....
a 100% original c902 (1944 x 2592) picture is around ~1.3 MB in size....

some other tips is:
proper light and proper angle..... (this tips is for free my man )

if thats not works, replace your c902, this camera should blow you away in good weather...thats for sure

You are not supposed to look at CMOS camphone shots at full size.

Still quite noisy to me. Looks better scaled down.

(besides, there is many cmos camera with awesome quality. Canon EOS, etc, etc)

I wasn't talking about cameras. I said CMOS camphone.

edit...............

first of all.. every pictures looks better scaled down. (even my girlfriend Hasselblad camera

Noise is slightly more in c902/k800 yes, BUT its not that much.

besides, if you compare c902/k800 cmos sensor against i-mobile902 CCD sensor, their colours and details is way better.
(so cmos have some advantages yes ?)

if you think this have to much noise, i guess you are blind. its barley NO noise in this lowlight shot.

This talk started with djsquare complaining that full size photos look bad. Shall I post a crop of your photo where there are plenty of noise? Where there is less noise is where the noise reduction has removed it - together with some detail.

Better colors, yes, I can agree with that, but definitely not better details.
