Rubenos, do you have any other impressions on Honami?

impressive bay trail score...
Madness!!

and at 1.1GHz! Wonder which OEMs will be using that CPU.
That's why I'm not convinced about its authenticity, unless it uses an Intel Bay trail processor.
Mysterious Android device with Intel's Bay Trail chip shatters AnTuTu benchmark records

Yep.
I found more info. about that Antutu figure over at a Swedish site.
Apparently it was done with Intel Bay Trail clocked at just 1.1GHz (no turbo) with less TDP than Qualcomm S800.
Once Bay Trail goes commercial, it will be clocked at 2GHz.
Qualcomm, it's time to step up your development unless you want to see Intel inside in mobile devices in a near future.

Can someone clear up the issue of the Honami attachments please? From what I have heard, there won't be anything physical so have the insiders been referring to software enhancements only?
MediaTek octa-core is not as good as the S800 but its cheaper so is this for China phones only?
I am not a ghost, could someone kindly answer my questions please.

I think he means that the camera will be available to other manufacturers in 2014 before that exclusive sony ?
Or he means that like with the z the camera software won't be top notch and will be fixed in 2014
:/

Now when I think of it, launching Honami in August and releasing it in Q4 or whenever Sony intend to have it available, is a dicey move.
Apple should release their next iPhone around that time frame and it definitely could eat a big chunk of potential Honami sales, unless Honami is one of a kind phone that has all the bells and whistles.
