Update: claimed. I'll leave the original post up for context's sake.

Hey guys, any C901 owners need a black front faceplate and battery? I sent my C901 in to for repair and they replaced it with another phone, so I have no need for them now. I don't want to put them on ebay because it's too much trouble for too little reward.

Whoever needs a new faceplate/battery just PM me and I'll send them to you free of charge. They've only had about 2 weeks of use so they're pretty new.

I'll edit this post if anyone claims them.

No, they told me to keep the battery and cover and send in the unit for repair. They couldn't fix it, and had to offer me a different model because the C901 was never commercially available for the US. So I have these parts left.

hello guys.. I read on net:
- C901 - 5 Mp - Samsung Techwin.
- U100-Yari - 5Mp - Samsung Techwin - 1212-0592. Second Cam: Foxconn - 1200-0117_FRIDA_R13 & OmniVision - OV6680

Is it possible that they have the same camera module? o_O
I do not think so..
what is your opinion?

I remember when everyone argued about that, lol. But if photos are good and the camera driver format is the same for everyone it doesn't matter. It might be a different version from Sony...

Thanx! In the end, I found the normal lime on white one the most appealing

I found another camera trick this time for continuous zooming without having to hold the +/- button for ages
im thinking could be useful trick for raiders drivers

1. Start camera
2. Start Zooming in, hold your finger on zoom key
3. Simply press key 6 whilst zooming (scenes)
4. When scene options come up stop holding down zoom key and stop pressing key 6
5. Enjoy watching camera zoom by itself

Same method can be used when zooming in and when zooming out...
