Xperia Z, Z1 and Z2 looked similar. Z3 and Z3+ similar. Z5. XZ and XZ1 look similar.
Samsung S3, S4, S5 similar. S6 and S7 similar. S8.
iPhone 4 and 4S similar. iPhone 5 and 5S similar. iPhone 6, 6S, 7, 7S similar.
People just want small bezels and nothing more, the XZ1 will probably be the fastest and best performing device this year. I think it will smoke the XZP and even the Note 8 in everyday tasks. The bigger question is how loaded the XZ1 Compact will be and if it is as loaded as the XZ1, surely it has to be one of the best devices this year alongside the XZP.

Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 compact, just don't feel right after XZ Premium.XZ1 and XZ premium are very similar, only difference is 4k screen(and that's only on 4k content). For me,Sony should have released something different both design wise and screen wise.Repeating the same strategy for 4th year in a row, just screams laziness.

It's a much better solution doing the XZ Premium in the first half of the year, and the normal XZ in the second. They're different sizes. At least it's not like the Z and Z1 or the Z2 and Z3. They're completely different phones, targetting slightly different people.

original source for the photos

interesting enough, the cgi renders while they do give an overall appearance impression seem to lack the details from the press photos.

So going by the new leaked XZ1 compact photos, and comparing them to the leaked photos here
http://www.xperiablog.net/201[....]break-cover-first-live-photos/
looks like the G83xx is the XZ1 and not the compact since the front cam looks to be small in size and the XZ1 compact's front cam looks to be larger.
The silver devices, front view appears to be the XZ1 compact, the front seems to line up with the leaked press photo, vertical sensor bar in the front, so perhaps this is G84xx?
This leaves the other device, the one with the fingerprint sensor on the back. This could be the midrange device, G34xx, most likely.

So the XZ1C is probably plastic. DOes it also get easyli scratch?? Im little outdated on that issue but i remember my Z1 COmpact back cover (Platic) was ridiculous easy to scratch. Is it still like this?

Much better in matt than glossy plastic because it'll scratch less. Looks very nice especially if you compare it to larger phones. The big questions remaining are whether it is waterproof and is the screen 1080p. If yes to both with a minimum SD821 and slo-mo camera then this is definitely going to a monster performer.

Agree but does matte plastic also scratch easily, right?

Depends on the quality but I would say that there is less chance of if scratching and if it does, its less visible. A scuff on anything glossy sticks out.
