@Phoner

Wow! that was quick!

quote of my post at uiqblog.
Phoner, I’m interested about it’s memory usage in SwissManager because the previous leaks we saw wasn’t running 3.3.
How is the overall feel and responsiveness now that it’s 3.3? particularly in opening one message to the next.

thanx man

I can check Swiss manager usage a little bit later. I suppose all BeiBei leaks we have seen were running UIQ 3.3 (the new 12 icon menu, Opera 9.5, Widgets, a little bit different interface). It feels faster, smoother and the startup booting time is shorter.

yeah your right! i was thinking about Paris LOL.

I suppose it's free memory at startup is 96MB right?
If I remember it right, it was mentioned that more apps are automatically loaded at startup including messaging, notes, etc.. Can you confirm that?

thanks

There are no applications running at startup that can be seen through open applications menu. I will check later with Swiss.

i dont own a w890 anymore. But it DOES have stereo speakers. One on the back, and the main speaker used for talking is also used as a speaker = stereo speakers.

I do not know if it is only in UIQ 3.3 prototype, but i like the ability to move any application (even all preinstalled ones) to anywhere in the menu without applying any hacks

Yes, W890. It's got one speaker, that's it. The phone speaker for calls is so low on volume anyway, you definitely would not be able to hear whether it's that or the back speaker playing.
