Yeah anyone else here.....?
Since most of you know your football, think I’ll make a point that: We (man u) will never win the league again until we buy a "superstar" striker. I have nothing against v.nistelrooy (had many chances yesterday), but if we are to score as many goals as we usually do (in the league, we always score the most every season), we need a striker like SHEVCHENKO or Christian Vieri. No point in wasting money on a striker who'll be worst than v.nistelrooy, chairman and manager need to spend a lot of money on a striker this summer (talking about 40-60 mil) if were to win anything (cant believe Rivaldo went for free and Ronaldo wanting to come to us first, but the chairman was tight: "spent 30 mil on Rio, so no Ronaldo").
I still think that we play on a next level when its the champions league, and that we could probably end up winning it with ease this season (only A.C Milan and Real are in our way) with our current squad. But, for us to win the premiership, we need to be killing every team; hate it when we draw/lose to Bolton, man city, Middlesborough and then they lose the next week to some shit team. Every team plays 110% against us, like as if they'll win the league if they can beat us, and then play complete shit the next week.
Anyone got a view on this?
Also, any idea yet on a release date for the HBH-60 in the UK? I heard March but no price or exact date confirmed.

Bein an avid h8r of Man U i probably wont have much to add, but.... what u said about every1 raising their game when the play manyoo is true to an extent, but it seems to me that the reason they get these dodgy results is because sometimes manyoo seem to drop their game a bit when they play the "lesser teams" coz they think that it's their divine right to win the games so they don't actually have to play hard to get the result. Talkin strikers, I gotta admit that "horse's head" is a top-class striker, so i dont really c u havin to spend big bucks on another one tbh.

why is it that the 'top' teams always whine so loudly about how crap their season is if they don't win the league? there can only be one winner, and there's at least 5 teams who think it should always be them. if only the rest of us had those problems. it certainly makes our relegation battle pale into insignificance. so what if you only finish 2nd? you still get in the champions league where the money is. count your blessings.
kev - you're leaving eamonn in charge? if we did what he said, we'd be arrested, dead or both
