Just a quick question..
Is this the quickest and best way to BJ?
Discover devices in your Bluetooth section first "then" when you do find someone, exit the BT section and > go into your Phonebook > Manage Contact > Send contact > Via Bluetooth
Whats the best way to BlueJack someone? What are the quickest menu steps to discover and send a vcard? Can someone run me through it?

Headin down-under again one day?
thanx dude......but the award does really go to ajack
@Zak248313: suggest u pre-create a number of really freaky contacts and save them in your handset.....i normally start the name field with *...that way, all your

contacts can be seen easily.....as and when i wanna

jack, i'll simply scroll to the contact name, press option....select send via BT and the phone will search automatically...the target list will be displayed and all u need to do is press ok....it's much faster that way.....give it a go......cheers!!

OK, So your saying if Im walking thru a shopping centre dont discover through the bluetooth menu at all.. Just keep trying to send a contact to a Bluetooth Device (From your PhoneBook section of your menu) and it searches that way?
Also, Some people here seem to be sending long messages while BlueJacking.. Do they do these over a series of VCARDS or is there a way to send more text. When your adding a contact that becomes your message you can only type 30 characters in the name section.
Whats the best way to get a lot of text into your message when BlueJacking?

Heheheh, I did this a while ago when I first got my P800. I went to the movies (one that was really crowded) and did a scan. I found 3 Nokias with BT enabled and decided to have some fun.
So I sent a contact saying "Wake up Neo". And the next person I sent "The Matrix Has U". And then the last one "Owned by P800!".
Bluejacking is great fun. I'm going to try it at the next international airport I'm at.

Ooh oo ooh ooooooo!
I'm so happy!!
@ Zak, shithappens & All:
I was right about my first pick - "Papershop Deli" - Clarendon St.
Went back today around 12:30, before I could even order coffee I had scanned and BINGO 2 x hits!!
In 15 mins I got 4 hits!
- "6310"
- "Phone"
- "Karl ..." yeah surname n all!!
- "Dave's 8910"
First two came up initially so picked 6310 and gave him...
"Virus installation detected......."
then
"Virus installed!" finally,
"Deleting Phone Records....."
Couldn't really see... cafe was full, then finally a guy got up with his mate to leave- kept looking at his phone n showing his mate.

Perplexed look on him
Then went after "phone" but got "Karl" instead.
Very happy right about now, 10 mins - 3 finds!
Karl copped the first msg (same as above) then after I only got "Send failed"
Help me you Veterans 'shithappens' et al.... does this mean he simply chose to reject incoming card or he was off the air (or either).
Then found "Dave's8910" - tried a send but got "no devices".
In ref to yr last 2 posts Zak- I had actually been trying both methods and still don't quite get it.
'Dave's8910' & 'phone' kept comin n goin!?!
When I could discover them through BT menu I actually couldn't 'see' them when I went to send the card. *#@!
No disrespect 'shithappens' but in this case if I'd only tried searchin by the 'send card' method I wouldn't have found these guys!!
I tried both ways for 30 mins.
Sorry bout length of post but finally, I suspect these guys weren't even in the cafe but maybe in the bank next door!! or behind or somethin', movin around a lot.
So Zak...go for it - think of it as a hotspot! But I'd only try at lunch time - get in early get a good seat in the middle (I was stuck at back)
and lose that cherry!!!!
P.S. re long stuff- A. better to drag em out B. in this thread - "print" an unsent SMS (if you have BT PC try on it first -open with notepad, looks real cool)
Tonight I can sleep with smile on face...

LOL Blue. Good to hear mate.. Where exactly is the papershop deli? I just work around the corner on City Road..
So you reckon that you should Discover thru BT first then go to Send Contact once youve found someone?

G'day Zak just noticed you on line so scrolled down got yr last post!
Yeah 'shithappens' method IS quickest but my experience today I def wldn't have found those other 2 guys.
City Rd, huh? You lucky shit! I live 35km away, but travel all over, so S.M. not bad rest spot for me. Papershop Deli next to National Bank, opposite Coles!
Tried Blokia Shop too, all asleep in there...
If those other guys are workin near the Deli then you can keep tryin to ping em ANYtime!!

:D
Send me yr mobile on PM, maybe we hook up...

Nice trick, can't belive i only just found it!
Gives me somet to do at Picadilly (Manchester) train station today!
Also at work all the (now discontinued according to OBCR!

) 7650's and P800's are paired with my PC or works Laptop (they were used to set up), so some fun could be done
And as for the device iding as "Phone" my T68i always picks up Apple Powerbooks as phone, where as my Laptop and PC (and Fukia 7650's) pick it up as "[CompanyName]'s Computer"
