i don't think the 1GB MSD is out in large quantities yet. even if you find one, it will probably still be more expensive than buying 2 512MB MSD's.

but the 512 is really good enough for almost everyone's needs. i have tons of apps on mine (i don't install any apps in the phone memory), a lot of pics, almost 200 ogg vorbis songs, 3 episodes of friends and a whole bunch of other videos, and i still have about 90MB+ to spare.

i tell you, when you get a 512, you will realize just how much you've been missing!

edgie, 1GB Pro Duo's aren't commercially available yet.

the few people that have found them, bought them for over US$500 (as far as I can remember)

By the time the 1GB Pro Duo becomes affordable, newer phones will be on the market as well anyway.

The price difference between 2 512MB sticks, and the 1GB stick is pretty big. And yes, it may be more convenient... but it's more expensive, not to mention very difficult to find... by the time you find one, you may need to upgrade your phone already!

I actually just made pabili a couple of 512 Duos with my friend... public service for Esato members who are looking for 512MB sticks. I was so horrified kasi when I asked Sony how much their 512MB Pro Duo was... P21,000!!!!! Puń***!!! HAHAHAHA! So I asked my friend who was coming back from the US to buy me a couple of 512 sticks.

That's pretty cheap for a Sony (Not as cheap as my P6K Sandisk...which is what comes with the P910i anyway)...

The cheapest Sony 512MB Duo I've seen (non-authorized) is P19K in Park Square 1.
