@Xajel
It is still unclear why nVidia used the companion core instead of big.Little, but that is definitely not because of die size: Cortex-A15 is more than four times as big as an A7 ( http://www.anandtech.com/show[....]architecture-power-at-isscc-13 ), in other words, they can put 4 Cortex-A7 cores instead of the companion A15, and end up with a smaller chip. The reason why they chose the companion core instead may be because they just reused the Tegra 4 CPU with a newer process and using big.LITTLE would have taken more time to implement.

evleaks confirmed the specs leaked..

http://www.androidsas.com/201[....]ius-is-xperia-z2-reliable.html

Mostly the same of what was already known..

If we could only get HiRes Audio + 128/256GB storage and not this queer 3GB of ram (2 or 4, 3 is just weird, and stopgapish..) Id be happy... But this K1 is looking nice from the bench, im sure the denver version will be even better... Qualcomm needs to get off their bums asap, the 805 will be popular but behind the times no doubt... wb.LTE-A support is just a module away now...

@karim, not entirely.. they worked on Denver instead.

What is High-Res audio? And my word: 256 GB storage? I know NAND is dropping in price, but it's not that cheap yet. That phone would be ludicrously expensive, plus I'm not honestly sure what I would even do with all that storage. I'd take 128, as long as it wasn't too overpriced, but to be honest, with cloud storage getting so much better and easier these days, I've kind of stopped caring that much about a lot of local storage. Thanks to Google Play Music, Drive, Netflix, etc., I've still got 56 GB free on my Z Ultra. Although I guess now that I think about it, not everybody has unlimited data, so I can sort of see your point.

Sony 'Sirius' is the Xperia Z2 (C770x), reliable source confirmed it

Xperia Z2, aka 'Sirius' leaked. Possible MWC debut

Well, this time you don't have to take this information as a pinch of salt because this information comes out from a very reliable source, so we should get ready for the Sony Xperia Z2 at the MWC 2014

Is it reliable?

Good news! The Z1 replacement will be the first Sony global phone. It was about time! One to rule them all

lol, I think we've been hearing about this "global phone" since the rumors of the Z were circulating. Hope it eventually comes true.

BTW, here's some info by zomg:

Now I know why the Z1s is so cheap on T-Mobile!

Xperia "Sirius"/Z2(?) is due out in late June in the US, will go head to head with GS5 on T-Mobile, VZW and Sprint. Sony and AT&T are still bitching at each other for some reason.

Spec rundown, take it with much salt for now:

5.2" 1080p/1440p IPS
4GB RAM
S805 @ 2.5GHz
32GB
MicroSD
20MP camera
~3500mAh battery

Hoping to get confirmation on these soon, and that it will be the only flagship from them for 2014.

Interesting info. He also hinted that a future phone might have a 1/2" camera sensor rather than 1/2.3" so I wonder if that will make it into Z2. 4GB of RAM is certainly nice. I do wonder if they'll have wireless charging tech in it as that was a rumored feature Sony was to use this year. Now late June is the timeframe zomg gave for Z2 at least in the USA. I wonder if that holds true for the global release too because if that is accurate, then I have to wonder if the Z2 and Z Ultra successor wil launch together.

lol xperia Z2 at MWC is impossible...
also gsmarena always give wrong rumours
worst possible specs for Xperia z2(to prevent false hope happens ) :
-5 inch FHD 1080p display
-snapdragon 805
-2gb ram
-32gb
-improved camera with no OIS,120fps and 60fps recording, front camera still the same....
-3200mah battery
-heavier, no wireless charging
-bezels... zzz
-waterproof, still with hell a lot of flaps

If this is true....
typical biased comments happen:Disappointing...Samsung is better, Sony is stupid, No more Sony phones ...at least it is better than z1....
(a lot of negative emotion happens)

The stupid bezel comment is so tiresome.
Phones by Nokia are far worse.

I don't feel it. I think it's still pretty early for a flagship. And if zomg is right, the only flagship for 2014.
