I guess b4 any annnouncement is made regarding the p5i(?), the device or a new one or better still a modified one,has to be returned and tested first by him and or others who have the privellege.
Then we can begin to speculate and wait for an announcement.But before then,the wait continues.
So PK, keep us informed the moment your hands get hold of it-hopefully.

About the Snapdragon platform - things are very uncertain. SE and TI signed a contract, according to which TI will ship chip sets from the OMAP2 and OMAP3 family and I have got some info - TI are going to ship OMAP 3 for use inside SE handsets in H2/2008, and the P-series flagship phone is going to be released then, if not later, so that fits with the 'late' P5i shipping information quite nicely. Whether SE will use non-TI chip sets for its smartphone range is not known yet, but if you take into account this:

It will be very unlikely that SE will use Qualcomm chip sets while the contract with TI is valid.

Well, I still think it's as far from reality as possible.
I may be wrong, but all these assumptions are... Just assumptions and rumours based on other rumours, that's it!
