not much. autofocus doesn't work well in low light

I don't have any recipe for this problem. autofocus light assist (red led) is too weak
all
why autofocus light is red? I would like to know
a_amirfarzam
red eye reduction = forced flash

Autofocus light is red simply because the production of red color requires less power than any other color

Raider there weren't any problems with sharpness in previous versions of yours camdrivers. I'm using version 621 , because it is better then 633 in low light conditions. I don't know why?

post examples plz to prove your point of view
I have no 6.2.1 version, but I think that current version provides almost perfect (in comparison with stock camdriver, of course) shots
If would be interesting if previous version were better

i got to say many pictures taken AT LOW LIGHT (BAR or disco for example) with sharpness at value 6 are really really blured, no sharpness at all like the previous user said.. tried some with 8 they are really better. i'll post some tomorrow. CAN'T SAY if it is just coincidence, but they are like from no sharp at all, and nice sharp. (talking about low light) in day light the difference is way smaller.

Raider
In fact the reason for using red light as AF assist is, that semoconductor based foto matrix is more sensitible for ling-wave light. Matrix is the most sensitive in infra red!
Did you ever tried to use any digital camera (not mather: k800i or any other, even regular photo camera) to watch TV remote when sending commands to TV? IR light transmited by the remote is visible for camera

I used this fact several times to check if remote controller is working or needs batery to be replaced
Raider, is this explanation acceptable for You?
...and of course, thank You for very good driver. I'm using v6.3 with pleasure.
Regards.

thx! to be honest I really don't like this red thing. I miss my two bright white tiny leds from W800

they saved me many times in darkness
