Very nice photos! Really nice.

And I can't seem to take photos as sharp as the photos posted here.
Do I need to have a very steady hands?
Do I have to avoid taking pics from 9 am to 3 pm (where the sun is high up in the sky)?
My photos are either too bright (and washed out colors) or too dim. Playing with the EV doesn't help.
The photo sure looks nice on the phone screen but once i viewed it on my laptop, the photos are not good.

I'm not impressed with the photos I took.

Get raider's camera driver, then you will have many more options than just EV
Your hands need to be very very steady with all camera phones because they have tiny sensors.

More photos, shown in their original size: 5MP or 1944 x 2592 pixels

Flashpic with Raider's. Did you use manual SS or did the camera choose 1/2500s by itself??

I used manual SS it's strange though: both pictures say ISO= 100 but there is visible noise in one picture, you can't get motion blur at 1/125 seconds? maybe EXIF data is confused because driver uses Gain not ISO

I have second thoughts on modifying the camdriver since I can't create a backup with a2.
It's very hard to find original c901 camdrivers. As what I have noticed (and tested), camdrivers from different regions (all r1ga028) produces different results. Seems there's only one c901 camdriver available for download. Until someone could post the original camdrivers from different regions, i'll stick with my original one.

Can't view pics from the link you provided:
