exynos sony phone? not a chance. companies may have to start suing samsung just like apple if they share their technology with samsung for samsung to copy for the next XX years.

@aamwng:
At the moment I prefer the Snapdragon SoC, unless Samsung offers something interesting with their Exynos chipsets.
Sure Cortex A15 is a perfomance beast, but also sucks at batterylife :/

@ramu:
You need to get some new insider informations, we have some serious leak/information-drought on Honami

Why does everything have to be about Honami?
@Ramu Could you give us a specs rundown of all the devices you know about and haven't been released(e.g. One Sony 2, Ray 3 etc.)
and What happened to Sony and Qualcomm's joint partnership for a costumized chip ypu mentioned a few hundrer pages back??

Sony is not moving away from Qualcomm any time soon. They tried out another vendor with ST-Ericsson last year and decided very quickly that they were going to stick with Qualcomm.

The Xperia C software is actually made by Arima Communications, not Sony. Sony did provide the usual media apps and everything, but the core system is developed by Arima.

Of course this is only your guess supercoolman... But I agree 100% with it, not a single chance.
Samsung will first need to show the world next gen Exynos can be used in their own phones, as for current gen exynos it is compromised.
Then assuming it is the case, Sony has no interest "helping" samsung, so samsung will have to cut prices.
Sony will need to optimise software, which is currently optimised for snapdragon, and that would be a new cost.
Finally, sorry but my gut feeling is sony+amazon+nvidia

Only in September? Oh my god, I'll maybe buying the ZL instead and just wait for 2014/2015 flagship instead, as ZOMG told until then, we'll be able to see an ZL like design and the phone still water proof

I have to agree with Mr. rickrz coz I am thinking of getting the Xperia Z for now so when its time for me to upgrade there will be the one sony 2 and possibly a mini one sony 2 as well out from 2014/2015 flagships and because these are pure Sony devices from the ground up then Updates and maintenance will keep coming and well maintained, can't wait, I have waited long but now I really feel like getting the Z !
