Lol @ Kryptik
Yep if im not here im on MXit or Pro. Thats where my interest in symbian also started, and that Jscott fellow with all the s60 os9 applications and games in his group is one of the reasons im sticking to s60, all apps for FREE never have to search, just go to my groups search and VOILA! Lol
@ Wanqa
nice one! Christmas has come early at the Wanqa household huh the Mrs getting a K550 and you getting a P990! Hope you enjoy them!
@ JK
FLIP YOUR LUCKY HEY!!! Wouldn't mind giving one of those a try, the only Windows Mobile ive used is a friend's I-Mate SP-5 which is a great lil smartphone, even has Wifi in that small body.@ Hobbs
thats good boet! 6600 is still a great s60,i remember that phone when it came out was like the N95 today, everyone wanted one!

@ Kryptik,
LOL, speaking of Nirvana, their last ever released song, 'You Know You're Alright' (released after Cobain's death, and which led to the big Courtney Love v/s Dave Grohl et al debacle), is stuck in my head today...
...and yeah, Gucci n' Hobbster as well, thanks guys. I've got my new preciousssss with me, but it ain't a P990i...
@ Falcon,
Howzit boet, long time no see here. The W880i is by the slimmest n' smallest of those, really dinky. Personally I think the keys are way too small though, so I wouldn't want to use it for anything other than calls. I actually took a pic of the bling one that JK's referring to, as well as the other bling Voda options out here now:
N73:
V640i:
bling surround on W910i:
The LG is fairly slim, but quite wide and won't hold nearly the value of the e65. You've got all the 'must-have' specs on your N95, so perhaps the e65 would be a good option.
But going on slim size n' style only, the W880i.
@ JK,
You luck bugger indeed! Enjoy; that's a truly awesome, loaded piece of kit you have there. Let us know how it performs.
@ Teeninvader,
Good to see you around these parts again, boet.

Hope you're keeping well.

Wanqa's new precioussss:
I've had to sell the N73 to make up the difference, compared to what I was initially planning on spending, but so be it; I'll only be carrying one phone around with me now.
I went to the shops n' markets, but the brand spanking new, sim-free P1i was finally offered to me for £250 cash (approx R3500) by one of the shops that I've done a lot of business with before. Gee, what a haggle to get it at that price, but hell I've bought enough phones from there for friends and family in the past.
So long to my fantastic P900, the most reliable phone I've owned to date.
It will be 4 years old in April, and it still works brilliantly.
Dunno what to do with it now that it's retiring today, maybe just keep it as a back-up of sorts, 'cos it's been so well-used that I really won't get much for it.
And farewell to my N73 as well, which I bought on New Year's Day for a mere £140 new. Hope your new owner takes as good care of you.

Nice one Wanqa!!! YOUR P1i looks great and the fact that you got it sim free unbranded at such a great price must be the cherry on top!

im realy happy for you boet!! ENJOY IT!! I remember when i tried it out seemed like a very well balanced phone Software and Hardware wise, flipping light compared to my 135g heavy N80 LMAO!

and just a GRRREAT phone to hold and use.

Well done Wanqa!!! May you experience as much joy from that new baby as you did from its predecessors! Btw, has anybody seen Brix around? He's been rather quiet lately...

Thanks very much guys. Yeah I'm a happy bunny.
Different to the P900's older UI in a variety of ways, which I'll get my head around. To be expected after using the same handset and UI for the same 3 and a half years, methinks.
Yeah, where is Brix? Last time he mentioned that his work commitments etc had been a significant factor, but eish.. I think we need to organise a search party, LOL.
