Hmmm . . . Nice one. Given the choice I will take the N95 8gig but then again thats just me. I wonder how much does a p1i + a 8gig card cost ? And yeah , I sort of miss 'B' too. No one to x-change 'shots' with . . . Any of you chaps heard something about Nokia's new in internet 'tablet'?

LOL, Hobbs Symbianwalker, we'll keep the UIQ Rebellion aliiiiiiiive!
Ya'll hear that , you Dark Side/ Imperial S60troopers out there LOL
Honestly, I had every intention for going for the P990 today. When I checked it out, there were bits missing; it was just the phone, manual and charger. No train-smash, I mean big deal, there's no

desktop charger stand/docking station, USB cable, spare stylus and CD, but then why advertise it as brand new boxed? Now fair enough, it may still be brand new and boxed per se, but I'm being nit-picky as the omitted items weren't mentioned or stipulated and I know what comes with a brand new boxed item like the P990i! One then starts to ask questions...
It was more that principle that made me raise an eyebrow. Integrity is very high up on the pecking order of Wanqa traits. I left it to ponder and reflect. Yes it was still damn cheap, even though the P990 was locked and Orange branded.
An esato member from Austria then buys my N73, and with the funds that I'd set aside for a new phone, the new P1i from a local, reputable independent cellphone shop, unbranded and unlocked, suddenly looked lke a more logical option..
The rest, as they say, is history.
EDIT: Thanks, Mario. That 8 Gig N95 is STUNNING! Saw another one at the local Vodafone store today.
I guess you mean the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet? I've only seen them at the Smartphone Show, nowhere else yet. Didn't have a chance to play on one, though...

Lol thats quite a story there @ Wanqa
WOW no USB, no CD ,No desk stand, no spair stylus no etc. . . Lol i would have also been a bit suspicious and realy raise an eye brow at the seller. . .hehe, at the end its good you that you got the P1 then, its a newer phone and who knows you might have had problems with that Orange branded P990 and the weird package they offered you for such a brilliant phone.

@ Mario,
Here you go, £69.99 (approx R1000) for a 8 Gig M2 Sandisk memory card:
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Memory-Stick-Micro---M2
Therefore P1i + 8Gb M2 = R4500.

@ Gucci,
Ya, I guess out of that 'episode', I ended up with the brand new P1i, so not too shabby an ending for today's adventure in Wanqaland.

Thats what I want Wangs,a 8GB memory card.My 2GB card is pretty much filled to capacity. At R1000 I think its a great buy.I would hate to know what you'd pay here for a 8GB card if you had to walk into a Vodacom shop.I got mine on special but 2 months back you'd would have paid R699.00 for a 2GB card.Crazy.Incredible Connection selling the Nokia N95 for R6399.00 so add a grand or two on for the 8GB version I'd say.

@ Hobbster,
How's this, that memory card shop site that I posted sells 4 Gigs for £29.99 (approx R420). Not too shabby, hey?
Maybe I must buy memory cards from them in bulk, then bring loads with me when I'm next in SA; you and Kryptik et al could make a killing down there LOL.
