@arnold: Are you looking for an affordable speaker system? I heard the Accoustic Energy's over the weekend. Ganda ng tunog. I was never a fan of satellite speakers, but these were pretty amazing. Considering they even weren't broken-in yet. Apparently created by a Korean who was I think one of the chief engineers with Bose. Heard he got fed up with Bose because R&D didn't get enough of the budget. It would always go to marketing (so what's new). When you hear them, you'd think you're listening to bookshelf speakers. I think the speakers were also featured in Stereophile earning good reviews.

@nephlim, i auditioned two pairs of mordaunt short's and two pairs of bostons several weeks ako... i needed big sound in a small package sana (the ms clipped!). will definitely want to hear the acoustic energy if you tell me where [alam ko na - upscale audio]

in addition, the bose technology was good 10-15 years ago... my aged bose continental needs to rest now. i just hope the new ones will last this long!

@arnold: I actually saw reviews of the Accoustic Energy months ago but couldn't find a dealer here that had them. If I recall correctly, the two piece speaker/sub (with amp of course) is at around P16k. They also have the 5 pc system for home theater use. Built in Dolby Digital and DTS decoder, just plug in your DVD. Not sure about the price of this. Haven't been going around Audiophile stores lest I get tempted, but like I said heard them over the weekend. Put it this way, my audiophile cousin who uses Revel speakers and a Proceed pre/pro and matching amps simply loves them. Yun nga lang, ikakabit lang niya sa computer niya. I'll let you know where he bought it.

This is a WT!!!!

According to some insider from Globe, MMS and GPRS will start charging by September 1. However, according to the source, those few prepaid sims that have access to GPRS will not be not be charged yet because they cannot determine how to do it, "yet".
