Has anyone installed Gdesk on a G900 yet? Does it work ok and is it safe to do? Does it hack the OS a lot? Can you remove it fine without any complications after? Thinking of giving it a go, I still got a P990 and P1 kicking around so may try them first but if anyone has tried it please tell me what it was like?

Can the 'inside' camera also be used to make picture's? it would seem ridiculous to add a whole camera to a phone only for using video calls.

Hi has anyone had any problems syncing using the SE software and Outlook?

It did work problem is as the phone is a "NEW TOY" I have done quite a bit to it and with it since it worked!

I have put in memory card, done SEUS update, added some programs, installed media manager and now to try and solve problem updated SE software.

Have tried all the things it says to do on SE website but nothing works for syn just tries to initiate then comes up failed. Backup is still working though.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have synced my G900 with Outlook without any problems, once I got it working had some problems before my comp did find the phone, but then it was no problems. Uninstall PC Suite and reinstall it again (reboot the comp between) is my suggestion, make sure you are using the latest version of PC Suite from support site.

Also check any firewall/antivirus software you have installed, they have a habit of not liking the behavior of software. Either disabling it once you try syncing, or make exceptions in the firewall/antivirus not to block the PC Suite application (and/or the communication software, mrouter something...)

another thought of why NOT to buy a G900.. or any UIQ phone. Java 3D is in prehistoric state. i kinda like my G900 now, well more than at the beginning, but no cool games for it (fishlabs).

can someone help? i installed, then uninstalled and deleted all the files for mobireader...but obviously some are still left coz every time i turn the phone off and on again, i get a prompt asking me if i wanna install the program.

is there something that i forgot to delete?

it's not a huge issue...just irritating.

also, i dunno if it's just my G900 or it's a bug. If i get an SMS msg and the phone is locked, the bottom status bar reads "DONE SNOOZE EXIT" (as per an alarm) and when i unlock the phone, it reads "YES NO". weird.
