Not quite full zoom, but nearly. Thing is we were at a show the other week and about 4 people were using the C902, it looked crystal clear to us when they zoomed in on the band...

Also, if that is image quality on zoom then what is the point of zoom?

Confused now, but thanking anyone for help/advice

digital zoom won't be any better in other phones. notice that light conditions from your pic is not good too. picture quality cannot be good with zoom and in low-light combination

Yeah you'll get the same problem no matter what phone you buy. Digital zoom should just never be used. It is there only for when it is strictly necessary.

If you want to be zooming in that much, then you don't want a phone camera, you want a digital camera with decent (10x or more) optical zoom.
