Does it really say that in the manual? Because if it does then that's gospel as far as i'm concerned. If Sony says four hours then four hours it is, it's not as if they would print false info in the manual is it!.

Have ordered my K750i upgrade from my O2 online contract, was sent this morning and should be at my home by tomorrow!
However I am working away from home at the moment and won't see it till Saturday at the earliest!
I have been reading some posts on here about the bugs etc that have surfaced in the phone and have noticed that a lot of users seem to be using O2 branded firmware!
Does this mean that I will most likley be experiencing these problems? (Freezing etc)
Does anyone know if SE are working on firmware at the moment that is adressing these problems?
Will I be able to use the Sony Ericsson Update Service to update my firmware even though it is the O2 branded firmware?

Remember, you spend alot of money on this phone, you want it to function well for a long time. There is no point in getting 12 months of greaf because you are impatient and want to save a few hours.
Better safe than sorry so if for no other reason then do it just to be safe.
No need to scare people with advices for NiMh batteries which do not exist anymore! LiIon batteries don't need this at all, I haven't done this with my T610 and two years later it still doesn't need more than a charge every week, so...

yes, but not at soon as users with unbranded generic firmwares, because O2 will need to first get the new firmware for rebranding before they can put it on seus.
This means that some of the generic bugs may have been solved, but then O2 may ruin some of those fixes when they make their own firmwarebranding.
I know not all can avoid branded phones / firmwares, but I strongly advice anyone that can, to do so. Over times it has proved to give many problems for users.

I assume SEUS will not allow me to flash my branded firmware until the O2 branded one becomes available?
Does it check the phone to see what it has / needs?

Nice phone. Charged mine for 5-6 hrs, but the "Charging" did NOT turn off. Think it´s enough anyway...

I played with it for a few hours, then charged it again before i went to bed for another hour.
It then lasted until this morning, with heavy usage. So, i've only charged my K750i once since Saturday and the battery is fine. It lasts ages !
Btw, my K750i also creaks a little, especially the lens cover, but not much that noticable.

etaab did you recieve your k750 with about 75% worth of battery? or none?

It had about 35% of the battery charged. I know they come partially charged for testing though, so its normal.
